HOAF WeedAir® 1002IB
With a working width of 1000 mm, the HOAF WeedAir ® 1002IB is an ideal weed scorcher to mount on practically all tool carriers. Due to its low weight, compactness and productivity, the sear is ideally suited for controlling weeds on paved and unpaved surfaces in public areas. This weed scorcher comes into its own particularly in places where there is an increased risk of fire.
A treatment with the HOAF WeedAir ® 1002IB kills many seeds lying on the ground, making an important contribution to lowering the vegetation pressure.
Heating principle
The HOAF WeedAir ® 1002IB has three burner heads under the burner hood for the highest possible capacity. In addition, the sear is standard equipped with two side discharges, one on either side. This means that weeds along walls, obstacles and hard-to-reach places are easily treated in the same pass.
The weed wilting principle is based on a powerful warm air stream that is evenly distributed under the burner hood. The stainless steel burner cap is standard equipped with an insulation and infrared mesh package. The all-round closed hood ensures minimal heat loss, which significantly reduces the risk of fire damage to the surrounding area.
Ease of use
The HOAF WeedAir ® 1002IB is connected to the power supply of the tool carrier. The sear is equipped with a control panel that can be mounted on the tool carrier. Here the temperature can be read and the sears and side ejection can be electrically ignited and controlled individually from the tool carrier.
All burner heads are fitted with a flame safety device. Should the flame go out in a situation, the fuel supply will stop and the sear will switch itself off. Possible error messages are indicated per sear by the illuminated switches.
As standard, the sear is equipped with a category 1 three-point linkage. The gas supply must be placed separately on the tool carrier. We can optionally supply various types of tank and bottle frames for this.
