HOAF TwinSprite® 8
The HOAF TwinSprite ® 8 is a row burner for burning weeds on ridges. Due to the individually slidable burner elements, it is possible to use several pitch sizes, varying from 500 to 750 mm.
A treatment with the HOAF TwinSprite ® 8 kills many seeds, fungi, spores and bacteria lying on the ground, making an important contribution to lowering the disease pressure. By burning only the strips after sowing and before the emergence of the crop, considerable gas savings are achieved.
Venturi burner
The atmospheric burners of the HOAF TwinSprite ® 8 are equipped with the HOAF venturi burner technology, whereby the burners ensure an optimal gas-air mixture. The burner heads are available in various working widths. They are supplied as standard with a width of 250 mm.
Optionally, the burners are fitted with a protective cover to minimize wind influences. The protective cover closes the burner mouth properly so that the flame image is not disturbed.
Easy operation
The HOAF TwinSprite ® 8 is controlled directly from the cabin via a control panel. The panel is equipped with multiple switches to turn each burner on and off individually.
The burner heads are equipped with a flame safety device. Should the flame go out in a situation, the fuel supply will stop and the burners will switch off. For transport, the burner can be folded up hydraulically and is therefore easy to transport and store.
